Bronze Bell Recovered from the Wreck of the SS Republic

The bronze bell aboard the Odyssey Explorer, recovered from the wreck of the SS Republic in October 2003. Located at the bow of the shipwreck site, the bell helped confirm the identity of the vessel which was first built in 1853 and originally named SS Tennessee.
