Silver Cob Coins and a Three-Pronged Silver Fork

The excavation of the Tortugas shipwreck site yielded 1,000 silver cob coins similiar to those featured here, and a small, three-pronged silver fork. Forks were rare in the 17th century and not commonly used for dining; it is likely that it was intended for serving communion host.
