Water, water everywhere.
The Odyssey Explorer was prepared for Hurricane Isabel. We kept careful track of her progress across the Atlantic and towards the U.S. Several contingency plans were drawn up. Even though the ship was not directly in the path of the storm, we did see some effects. Tides ran 8 feet higher than normal and the dockside area was underwater. Flotsam was everywhere.
The ship and the crew came through the storm with no damage. After Isabel passed, final preparations were completed, stores and fuel were loaded, and the Odyssey Explorer left the dock.
