ODYSSEY MARINE SHIPWRECK ATTRACTIONS UPDATE
From George Becker, EVP,
Odyssey Marine
Shipwreck Attractions

For John Morris and Greg Stemm, Odyssey Marine Exploration founders, shipwreck attractions were always in the business plan, the natural extension and the logical result of the company's investment in technology to research, search, find and recover significant shipwrecks in the deep ocean. From the beginning, John and Greg were always interested in sharing the excitement of discovery, and the revelations of marine archeology in a manner that would enhance the value of the Odyssey brand as well as the artifacts and replicas from the shipwrecks. Now after years of painstaking research, the mobilization of advanced technology and the selection of talented professionals, the company has demonstrated the successful application of talent and technology in the location of the SS Republic shipwreck and the shipwreck believed to be HMS Sussex.

The company is front-page news around the world. A National Geographic television special has already aired, National Geographic Magazine's September issue will feature an extensive story about the SS Republic and a an hour long PBS television special and other media coverage are in the works. In January, the founders gave the direction to activate the Odyssey Marine Shipwreck Attractions program. Consultants were selected and creative concepts and market feasibility studies began. By May 1, a fixed attraction and a traveling exhibit program were developed. Market feasibility studies examined several markets to determine where the attractions would have the best opportunity for success. In late May, a multi-year, multi-attraction proposal was presented to the Board of Directors. It was approved.

The plan calls for both traveling exhibits and a fixed attraction to be opened in 2005. The locations of the attractions will remain confidential until final negotiations are complete. The Odyssey Marine Shipwreck Attractions embody the very latest in show concepts and interactive exhibits. Guests will have the opportunity to be involved in the robotic technology that enables the Odyssey offshore professionals to work at extreme depths on the seabed.

We're looking forward to sharing the quest and the excitement of Odyssey Marine Exploration with the public through our attraction program.
