Odyssey's preliminary survey and photomosaic work revealed beautiful images of the SS Republic shipwreck site. Here a porthole frames a fish and one of the many bottles observed on the site. The SS Republic sank in approximately 1700 feet of water in October 1865 while en route to New Orleans.
