Conservator Herb Bump (l) and archaeologist, Neil Cunningham Dobson prepare the temporary storage and conservation facility on board the Odyssey Explorer for artifacts recovered from the SS Republic shipwreck. The Republic sank in October of 1865 in 1700 feet of water and was discovered by Odyssey Marine Exploration in 2003.
